DESCRIPTION:Do you ever feel like you’re interested in science policy but can’t make the time to read and think about these topics\, aren’t sure how to take action\, or lack a venue to discuss these issues with peers? Come join us for the ASAP social/discussion group\, the second Thursday of each month! This is a time to connect with others interested in science policy\, share your ideas on what you’ve been reading\, maybe even work on an op-ed or white paper and get feedback from the group. This is your time to focus on science policy with a supportive group\, so we’re open to the time being used however people think best. \nWe will be in the Big Red Barn “greenhouse” area\, 6-9pm on Thursday November 14th. We’re looking forward to seeing you there! \nThis event is funded by the GPSAFC and open to the Graduate Community. Please contact Celine Cammarata at cmc495 for any special arrangements you may require in order to attend this event. \nJoin Advancing Science And Policy ASAP @ Big Red Barn (greenhouse) – Free pizza!
