SUMMARY:Network at the NIH Career Symposium May 3-7
DESCRIPTION:In 2021- the NIH Career Symposium will run from May 3 to May 7 and highlights the diversity of career choices available to your generation of biomedical researchers. Whether you are just beginning to consider career options or a senior student/fellow ready to look for a job\, the NIH Career Symposium is for you.  All Graduate Students & Postdocs/Fellows welcome! \nSEE THE FULL SCHEDULE AND REGISTER (starting April 15-it’s free!) \nONLINE\nMay 3    11:00 am – 4:15 pm\nMay 4-6 11:00 am – 2:45 pm\nMay 7    10:30 am – 12:00 noon \nIn 2021 the focus is on networking opportunities. Each room will have no more than 15 participants\, giving every attendee ample time to connect with a professional. Participants can move through the “rooms” as they like\, meeting a speaker\, asking questions\, or even just listening in to see if a particular career path looks enticing. NOTE: What is said in these rooms will NOT be recorded. Wondering what the Career Symposium is all about?  Check out past events here. \nWe invite any postdoc\, clinical fellow\, or PhD-level graduate student to join us. You need not be at the NIH to participate. This event is free to attend.  \nInterested in attending? register starting April 15. \n14TH ANNUAL NIH CAREER SYMPOSIUM- AN ONLINE EVENT\nCAREER EXPLORATION; ACADEMIC CAREERS; INDUSTRY CAREERS; JOB SEARCH SKILLS\nIf you would like to explore these career options on your own schedule\, we have a plethora of panels\, interviews and written synopses of previous events. Check out past events here.\nTo request sign language interpreters or CART Services\, you can contact NIH Interpreting Services by phone at 301-402-8180 or by using the Federal Relay Service at 1-800-877-8339\, or by submitting a request online.
