Sessions limited to 15 people\, as it is highly interactive. \nSign up for your preferred date to join Creating an Employer-ready LinkedIn Profile on this google sheet \nWe’ll start with a short overview presentation with pro tips on how to use LinkedIn\, some exercises to identify a good tagline\, and a very interactive session where participants work on their own profiles and critique others’ –so you will need to bring your own computer. We plan to send out some handy tips to registrants prior to the event if people want to get even more out of the hands-on session.\nDue to the interactive nature of this in-person workshop\, we will limit the number of participants to 15. Stine\, founder of the Science and Technology Policy Academy. DESCRIPTION:Three Minute Thesis (3MT) is a competition for doctoral students to develop and showcase their research communication skills. \nThe 2023 final round competition will be held on Thursday\, March 30\, 2023. Register to attend and vote for the people’s choice award. \n3MT challenges research degree students to present a compelling story on their dissertation or thesis and its significance in just three minutes\, in language appropriate to a non-specialist audience. In addition to the first place and second place winners from among the finalists\, audience members on March 30 will be asked to select a People’s Choice Award Winner.
