DESCRIPTION:The Institute of Politics and Global Affairs in the Brooks School of Public Policy will host a panel discussion on involving STEM professionals in policymaking at 9 am this Wednesday. This panel will feature former Rep. Tom Davis (R-VA) and Mark Bayer\, former Chief of Staff for Sen. Edward Markey. They will discuss the challenges\, opportunities\, and need for STEM students and practitioners to become involved in public policymaking and electoral politics.
