Bringing together nearly one hundred Cornell faculty members\, the CIFS Faculty Fellows are drawn from a variety of Cornell departments. The challenge is feeding seven billion people – nine billion by 2050. \nCIFS Faculty Fellows engage with the Institute and its industry partners in a variety of mechanisms including collaborative research\, scientific advisory roles\, and developing talent pipelines. \nA central vehicle for industry engagement with the CIFS Faculty Fellows is the Cornell Institute for Food Systems Industry Partnership Program (CIFS-IPP)\, CIFS’s flagship corporate affiliates program. Cornell and founder of SimpliFed\, climate entrepreneur Madison Savilow will share her insights on the climate tech industry\, her journey in this field\, and her advice for those interested in pursuing a similar path. \nSavilow serves as Chief of Staff for the waste and carbon utilization company Carbon Upcycling Technologies.
