Sustainable Biodiversity Fund and Small Grants Program

Here’s an opportunity to apply for internal funding to establish your independence in research and acquire professional skills valued by academia and industry alike.

Cornell Atkinson offers two exciting funding opportunities for Cornell graduate students, professional students, and postdoctoral researchers:
Sustainable Biodiversity Fund (SBF): Protecting the earth’s biodiversity is critical for preserving global ecosystem services, and protecting four billion years of irreplaceable evolutionary history. The SBF supports applicants from all disciplines with funding for biodiversity research.
Small Grants Program: This opportunity encourages the exploration of new ideas, directions, or perspectives as part of research on the most pressing questions in sustainability. The 2022 cycle will support research that aligns with Cornell Atkinson’s primary research areas: Reducing Climate Risk, Accelerating Energy Transitions, Increasing Food Security, and Advancing One Health.
Applications for both programs due November 8, 2021
