Apply before March 13 to Commercialization Fellowship
Through the Commercialization Fellowship, Cornell Engineering PhD candidates have the unique opportunity to immerse themselves in an intensive entrepreneurship program to explore commercialization of their technology. With assistance from a personal mentor, Commercialization Fellows spend a fully funded summer and semester learning the tools, methods, and skills necessary for bringing a product or technology to market.
Regular workshops cover business strategies and best practices for fundraising, supply chains, intellectual property management, and more entrepreneurship topics, providing deep experiential learning on the commercial side of innovation. Cornell faculty with entrepreneurial experience will work one-on-one with Fellows to identify potential market opportunities for their technology and to develop a strategic business plan for scaling up and going to market.
The program is open to PhD students enrolled in any of Cornell Engineering’s departments who are immersed in a particular technology and now want to see it through a business lens.
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis through March 13, 2023. Apply now.
