Apply your scientific and technical skills for global impact
The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Science for Development Fellowships program (SDF) provides two-year professional development experiences for American scientists and engineers to work at USAID and apply their expertise and research skills to inform the U.S. government’s international development activities and support their success.
Scientists and engineers who hold a doctoral degree and U.S. citizenship are encouraged to apply from across STEMM disciplines, including life sciences, physical and earth sciences, social sciences, mathematics, engineering, public health, and medicine. Individuals who hold a master’s of science in engineering also are eligible.
