Break the Barrier is a national, venture-backed healthcare innovation competition launching this fall.

The prompt is simple: identify a barrier in healthcare and use AI to build a solution. It’s open to all majors, all levels, and students are free to compete individually or in a team. Finalists receive cash prizes and guaranteed admission into an accelerator program with direct investment consideration from the VC partner.

There is absolutely no prior business or healthcare experience required, and the competition is completely free to enter. We want this opportunity to be available to all individuals, regardless of background. Purposefully designed so that a first-year student with no technical background and a pre-med computer science senior can both compete.
