The Sustainable Biodiversity Fund provides funding to graduate students in any disciplinary field at Cornell whose research focuses on biodiversity and the preservation of ecosystem services.

The Graduate Research Grants Program provides funding to graduate students in any disciplinary field at Cornell whose research aligns with Cornell Atkinson’s four priority areas: Accelerating Energy Transitions, Advancing One Health, Increasing Food Security, and Reducing Climate Risk.

New Program Launches to Train Sustainable Agricultural Finance Leaders
A new six-month leadership program will equip professionals with the skills to scale sustainable agriculture and strengthen food system resilience. Resilient Futures Leadership Program: Financing Sustainable Agriculture is now accepting applications through December 5, 2025.
Hosted by Cornell Atkinson and Field to Market: The Alliance for Sustainable Agriculture, the program will convene early- to mid-career professionals to build practical knowledge of regenerative practices, value chains, sustainability indicators, policy signals, and innovative finance mechanisms, while engaging directly with leaders from finance, agriculture, technology, and academia.
