Expand youth possibilities by leading a 4-H Career Explorations program

This year’s 4-H Career Explorations event will be June 26-28, 2024 at Cornell’s Ithaca campus. NYS 4-H is looking for Cornell faculty, staff, and students to facilitate a career exploration workshop for New York State middle and high school students.

Workshop leaders create engaging, hands-on learning experiences that connect youth with their work and career pathways. In the University U program track for middle and high school youth, lead the same one-hour workshop for 6 different groups of youth on Thursday and then Friday morning. In the Focus for Teens program track for high school youth, lead activities for one group of youth on Wednesday afternoon, Thursday, and Friday morning. NYS 4-H will coordinate chaperone training and youth safety preparations.
