NSF I-Corps: Explore your innovation’s potential for societal and economic impact!
Virtual and hybrid courses led by the Interior Northeast I-Corps Hub
University-based STEM researchers and early-stage founders: You’re invited to evaluate the market potential of your deep technology innovation, gain a deeper understanding of your industry, and learn valuable professional skills in a free, month-long I-Corps Regional Course.
The following courses begin online and culminate with funded customer discovery travel to an industry-specific conference or event:
- January 6 – 31: Open to ag tech researchers. Features travel to San Antonio, TX for the American Farm Bureau Convention. Hosted by IN I-Corps partner Cornell University. Apply by November 20.
- January 6 – February 5: Open to optics and photonics researchers. Features travel to San Francisco, CA for SPIE Photonics West. Hosted by IN I-Corps partners University of Rochester and Dartmouth College. Apply by November 20.
- February 10 – March 12: Open to digital health technology researchers. Features travel to Las Vegas, NV for the HIMSS Global Health Conference & Exhibition. Hosted by IN I-Corps partners University of Vermont and University at Buffalo. Apply by January 15.
- February 24 – March 26: Open to clean energy researchers. Features travel to Washington, D.C. for the ARPA-E Energy Innovation Summit. Hosted by IN I-Corps partners Binghamton University and West Virginia University. Apply by January 29.
The following virtual courses are offered to innovators in all STEM fields:
- January 13 – February 13: Hosted by IN I-Corps partner Binghamton University. Apply by November 20.
- February 10 – March 12: Hosted by IN I-Corps partner Syracuse University. Apply by January 15.
- March 3 – April 2: Hosted by IN I-Corps partner Dartmouth College. Apply by February 5.
