Present your research at CVM’s One Health Symposium

One Health is an interdisciplinary, integrated approach to human, animal, and ecosystem health. Organizers are looking for students to present their research projects on any topic relating to One Health, including (but not limited to): animal health, human health, global/public health, epidemiology, toxicology, zoonotic pathogens, food safety/security, ecology/environment/climate change, cell and molecular biology, entomology (arthropod health, ecology, or as disease vectors), antimicrobials, or One Health policy.

The final deadline for abstract submission will be March 24, 2025. You can submit your abstracts via this form. Presenters will be notified by March 28. If you have questions regarding the poster session, please contact the Veterinary One Health Association at vohacornellcvm@gmail.com with the subject line “2025 Poster Session”.

Interested in attending but not presenting a poster? Tickets for Saturday’s lectures and labs are available here. Early bird tickets are on sale for $15 each; after March 31 tickets will be available for $20.

Cornell College of Veterinary Medicine’s annual One Health Symposium, will take place Friday, April 18th and Saturday, April 19th. This year, the theme of the symposium is outbreak preparedness and response. Attend to learn from leading One Health professionals!

The symposium will feature keynote speaker Dr. Bonto Faburay, Program Manager of the Global Partnership for Animal and Zoonotic Disease Surveillance at the USDA, on Friday evening, followed by more speakers and public health-related wet labs from 8am to 5pm on Saturday. Meals will be provided and poster presenters will receive free admission to the event.
