Scientist Mentoring and Diversity Program (SMDP) call for Applicants. SMDP Biotech or SMDP MedTech application deadline is in early April. The programs are one-year career mentoring programs that pair ethnically diverse graduate students with industry mentors. Scholars attend a 5-day training session with their mentors to learn about career opportunities in biotech or medtech industry and receive career development coaching and attend a major industry conference.
