The info session is 1-2pm in Snee Hall 1134 and is led by Alcimed and the Nautilus AI team, targeted for STEM graduate students at Cornell (any campus) and IVY+ partner institutions. If you cannot attend in person, a link will be provided for interested participants not in Ithaca.

During the session, you’ll learn more about who we are, the types of challenges we help our clients solve, and what a career in healthcare consulting can look like for someone with a scientific or technical background. We’ll also share more about life at Alcimed, the work our teams do across the pharma and biotech industries, and opportunities to combine scientific expertise with business, strategy, and innovation. You’ll also have the opportunity to meet members of our team, ask questions, and introduce yourself.

Then, for those on the Cornell Ithaca campus, a team consulting case competition will follow.

The case study is 2-4:30pm in person only in Snee Hall 1134 and for doctoral students interested in consulting to work on teams to simulate what it’s like to be a healthcare consultant. Please have your resume ready to share at the end of this event. Join Alcimed for this interactive healthcare consulting case study and get a firsthand look at how we approach real-world business challenges in the pharmaceutical industry.

Participants will be divided into teams and work through a case based on a real-world client problem, breaking down the key issues, developing a structured approach, and presenting recommendations. Along the way, you’ll have the opportunity to practice problem-solving, teamwork, and strategic thinking in a setting similar to the work our consultants do every day.

This event is designed for students pursuing or holding a graduate-level STEM degree who are interested in business, innovation, and healthcare consulting. No prior case experience is required, we welcome participants ranging from first-time case solvers to those with extensive experience.

The session will also be an opportunity to meet members of the Alcimed team, learn more about our work, and introduce yourself.
