Did you know a PhD is great training for a career in academic publishing?

Join staff from Cornell University Press to learn about this less-traditional use of your PhD. Hear from the director of the Press, Jane Bunker and acquisitions editor Bethany Wasik as they share insights into what a life in publishing can look like.

Cornell University Press is hiring a graduate student as a paid part-time Acquisitions Fellow for the summer. This session will be an opportunity to find out more about this fellowship and how it may help you transition from your studies to a creative, fascinating, demanding, and satisfying non-teaching career. The opportunity will offer both shadowing with CU Press staff and practical experience. If you are interested in learning more about this opportunity as details emerge, please email Susi Varvayanis at sv27@cornell.edu.

Made possible through support from Careers Beyond Academia in the Graduate School.
