- This event has passed.
Calling a select group of doctoral students and postdocs doing research related to the mission of Syngenta loosely in several focus areas. This opportunity is designed to source ideas from many different disciplines, from plant, soil, and animal sciences, to nutrition, chemistry, microbiology, or engineering fields. Especial interest has been expressed by the Syngenta team to discuss:
Research focus areas of interest
Production environments and cropping systems in addition to dairy – specifically: grain corn, soybean, wheat, cover crops, oil seed crops; international large scale systems; and to a lesser extent silage, vegetables, and international smallholders
Soil health – specifically: regenerative solutions, tillage systems, bionutrient processing and cycling, benchmarking/assessment/interpretation, cover crops
Nitrogen management – specifically N and soil health, digital technologies, efficiency and precision
Dairy value chain – specifically methane, feed quality and efficiency–especially with the Syngenta product Enogen; and to a lesser extent manure processing
Meet the team from Syngenta:
Matt Wallenstein – Chief Soil Scientist
Jordon Wade – Soil Health Assessment Group Leader
Clint Truman – Soil Health and Sustainability Science Group Leader
Abbey Wick – Soil Health Academy Group Leader
Jason Neff – Soil and Climate Innovation Principal Scientist
