This month’s guest, Dr. Pradipta Chakraborty, is a Senior Scientist who has worked at 3 different biotech pharmaceutical companies and is fresh off of a career transition. She works on patient-focused research involving early target discovery, target validation, lead identification, and hit-to-lead optimization aimed at drug discovery for terminal and rare diseases. She earned her Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from St. Louis University School of Medicine and completed two postdocships before becoming an industry scientist.
