Research Communication Workshop
Summary: At the end of this workshop you should:
- Be able to introduce yourself in an engaging and memorable way.
- Recognize and develop strategies to explain jargon or complex topics.
- Develop skills and confidence to communicate with a variety of audiences on a regular basis.
- Use different storytelling approaches to communicate your research.
- Identify one or more outlets to communicate your research (e.g. podcast, social media).
- Develop an approach to start your talk and engage your audience immediately.
Open to: Doctoral students and Postdoctoral Scholars in any discipline interested in improving their research presentation skills to a wide variety of audiences.
