Interested in science and technology (S&T) policy writing but don’t know where to start? Join this writing workshop series led by Dr. Deborah D. Stine, founder of the Science and Technology Policy Academy. Dr. Stine has worked on numerous policy issues as the Executive Director of the President’s Council of Advisors on S&T (PCAST) at the Obama White House, and as a S&T policy specialist with the Congressional Research Service.

Workshop #1: Policy Writing 101: A How-to Guide
March 15, 2023, 5:00 – 6:30 p.m. EST
The first workshop will focus on identifying compelling science policy topics, and how to write policy briefs and memos.

Workshop #2: Individualized Feedback Session
March 29, 2023, 5:00 – 6:30 p.m. EST
The second workshop will focus on workshopping the writing pieces and receiving individual feedback.
